    • Jewish Early Childhood Educators
Early Childhood Jewish Educators is a place for teachers, directors, authors, musicians, clergy – anyone working in the field of Jewish early childhood education – to support each other on the journey of providing children with opportunities for learning today. We encourage current developmentally appropriate best practices. We recognize that all members are in the midst of their own journey, growing at different paces, hopefully open to learning from what others have to share. Posting open positions at your schools is highly encouraged. Remember to include your location because there are members from all over the world in the group. This is not a space for advertising events at your congregations or schools. Posts will be deleted. Please don’t post materials for sale – EXCEPTIONS: books and music (open to discussion with prior contact to admin) Posts will be deleted. Please don’t invite parents to join the group. Early Childhood Jewish Educators Facebook Group will be a platform for sharing – not only adding to the teacher toolkit, but also offering opportunities for thinking more deeply about why we do what we do. This group is open to all teachers (new to the field, seasoned, and anywhere in between) working in early childhood Jewish preschools regardless of your personal religious affiliation. Your school may be Reggio inspired, Montessori, project-based, a JCC, synagogue-based, independent or any combination of approaches to learning and locations. We can share how we arrange classroom environments, holiday celebrations, child development, creating the outdoor environment, engagement of children in activities, recycled art ideas – the possibilities for learning from each other are endless! Please encourage your co-workers, family and friends to join this group!

    • Jewish Grief, Loss, & Bereavement Support Group
Welcome new members!! Please share this group!! Each of us mourns the death of a loved one differently. While some people attempt to cope with their grief by themselves and do not want or need outside assistance, many others seek and find comfort in sharing the pain, anger, depression and other emotions they feel following a loss. This group provides grief and bereavement support to Jews nationwide, and to help find grief support and recovery services, information and other resources to help the bereaved. THIS IS A SAFE PLACE. Be kind. Be respectful. Feel supported. PLEASE CONSULT YOUR RABBI FOR ANY QUESTIONS!
